(Other less common pitch cutters can be rented or purchased as needed).
•Tooth size: 120 Diametrial Pitch to 1 Diametral Pitch, .2 Module to 25 Module, .05″ Circular Pitch to 3″ Circular Pitch.
•Pressure Angles: 14.5° PA, 20° PA, 25° PA, are the most common pressure angle gear tools that we stock.

Gear racks convert rotating movement into linear motion. There are different ways to use gear racks for example, to rotate a parallel shaft. Gearmakers can manufacture all types of ground racks, including racks with machined ends and bolt holes. Gear racks have straight teeth cut into one surface of a section rod with a pinion (a small cylindrical gear meshing with the gear rack).
Gear Rack Materials
We use the following materials to create custom gear racks: steel, hardened steels, pre-heattreat steels, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminums, delrin (aceytl), nylon, uhmw and other plastics, non-metallics (phenolics), brass and bronzes, graphite, titanium, monel, inconel. We can and have made gear racks out of many other materials as well.
